Get Some! It’s easy to do 😉

- 🧠 Dopamine – The reward and motivation chemical.
- This is the big one!
- It’s released when you make progress toward a goal, complete a task, or even anticipate success.
- It creates that feeling of “Yes! I did it!” and motivates you to do it again.
- People who love creating, planning, learning, or solving problems often get a strong dopamine boost from those activities.
- Serotonin – The confidence and satisfaction chemical.
- Released when you feel proud of yourself or believe you’ve made a meaningful contribution.
- It contributes to feelings of accomplishment, self-respect, and contentment.
- ❤️ Endorphins – The natural pain relievers.
- More associated with exercise, laughter, or intense emotion.
- You might get a small boost if you’re really excited after completing something.
- Oxytocin – The connection chemical.
- This one is released more when you’re bonding with others, receiving appreciation, or helping someone.
- If you share your accomplishment and someone celebrates with you, oxytocin can join the party.
BONUS tip!
Prolactin – Often rises after orgasm.
* Promotes relaxation and the feeling of sexual satisfaction.
* It’s one reason many people feel sleepy after sex 😴
#What about cortisol?
Actually, cortisol is the opposite ♻️
It’s the stress hormone. It helps you respond to challenges or deadlines. While you’re working hard on a project, cortisol may be elevated. But once you finish and feel relief and pride, cortisol tends to decrease while dopamine and serotonin become more prominent.
Your body was designed to handle short bursts of stress—not live in them. Over time, it can contribute to weight gain, poor sleep, memory problems, weakened immunity, high blood pressure, and an increased risk of heart disease.
