One Year Without You!

It’s hard to believe it’s been a whole year since you left this world, Ma. The days have passed so quickly, and yet each one has carried a weight I didn’t know was possible.

I miss your voice the most—those everyday conversations, your laughter, your advice, even your tough love. There’s so much I wish I could tell you. So much I wish I could hear you say.

So much has changed in 12 months, and I often find myself thinking, What would Wheezy say about this?

I love you deeply, flaws and all—yours and mine. That’s the beauty of our bond: mother and daughter, forever.

I just wish we had one more talk, one more hug, one more moment.

Love you always.
